iPhone Photo Post: Here comes the Holiday Season

1. Our pup is such a spoiled daddy's girl... enough said!

2. Bargain shopping!! We splurged the other day and bought me some new maternity clothes and just happened to stumble upon so great deals for the hubby too. He got 5 shirts for $15, $2.98 each! We love our local Target!

3. Christmas Choir! It's that time of year again... I'm attempting at being involved in it this year, but unfortunately I've been out for the past couple of weeks because of a nasty cold! It's kind of hard to sing your soprano part when your ears are clogged and you have nasty drainage messing with your throat... We'll see if I can stick it out!

4. Christmas Treats. I want to thank my pregnant belly for making me jump the gun and start some baking early this year! Here's to lots more treats around our home...

5. Cozy times with friends! The best part about the holidays is spending time with loved ones. Luckily, we spend lots of time with our best friends throughout the year, but it's those special moments like these that make the Christmas Season that much more memorable and special!

6.  One thing I love about my husband is that he makes Christmas come earlier and earlier every year! He believes that Nov. 1, the Christmas season starts... So, we get to start enjoying those special traditions and moments together early (or at least earlier than most)! Our tradition is to always take a night off from everything to watch Elf while setting up all our decorations and drinking hot drinks together! & Another tradition that marks the Christmas season is to always have a puzzle going! We've already finished our first puzzle and it's not even Dec. 1 yet...

7. My favorite Thanksgiving dish has always been 5 cup fruit salad! It is tradition in my family to always make a double or triple batch of it so there's leftovers. So that's exactly what I did this year! And just for the record, I devoured it all within the next day ... Our Thanksgiving was extremely relaxing! We went to Jonny's Aunt & Uncles' for a nice Thanksgiving lunch and then went home to rest and relax next to a fire.  Then that evening we spoiled ourselves by going to see Skyfall in theaters! (We NEVER go see movies bc of the outrageous prices, even though it's the hubbys all time favorite thing to do...) And then we decided that instead of wasting our time shopping and standing in lines on Black Friday, that we'd take our morning slow with a nice breakfast from Cracker Barrel! Breakfast dates are the absolute best...

8. And here I am at 28 weeks and 30 weeks! Time is about to start flying by even faster than it has been with how busy we are over the holidays & before we even know it Zeek will be here... It's crazy how fast it's all gone! I honestly feel like we just found out yesterday that we're pregnant... There are times I even forget that I'm pregnant (because of how easy my pregnancy has been). It's not til those moments where I'm laying on the couch and start to see my belly move and when I feel those little kicks or hiccups that I really realize, "there's a human in there!" and soon, very soon, that human will be in my arms! We are so excited and ready for Zeek to be here with us... and I am so ready to see my loving husband become the most amazing father and to have special moments with our kids...
like this one!
