God's Provision

God is too good to us, beyond what we deserve! It has been amazing to see God guide us and direct us in His plan. We have decided on attending North Hills Community Church, which is about 5 minutes from our house. We are very excited that we came when we did because it was at the perfect time. They are starting a sermon series about "fitness training for your marriage", a "Connections" Sunday School class (a class explaining the church and a class to become members), and different ministry opportunities. On Sunday in the bulletin there was an announcement for quarterly music auditions. It was great to know Jonny has an opportunity to serve in the way he is gifted. Doors continue to open by Gods hand. Jonny decided not to try-out this quarter so that we can focus more on finding a small group and on our other ministries, but it's good to know that the door is open!

God has also opened another door that we are still waiting on patiently. When we first moved here Jonny applied at the Apple store here in town. He had a friend refer him, he met all the managers, etc. But he never heard back from them, so he worked for his old boss for three weeks. The week his old boss didn't have work for him any more he got a call from Apple. (God's timing). Jonny went in for an interview last Wednesday and they liked him so much they asked him back the next day to meet the regional manager... We are pretty convinced he got the job, but we are waiting for the final confirmation call! They should be calling this week, so please keep it in your prayers. This whole situation just seemed too good to be true that we know it was all God's work. The timing of everything was just unbelievable! And if he didn't get the job it was still the encouragement that both Jonny and I needed to keep up with the job search.
