Thrifting Tips - Part 2

Part 2: Pulling from the rack
1. As you walk into the thrift store always check the sign to see what color of tag is the sale item! This is key to finding the best deals and staying within your budget!

2. Personally, I always start at the sale rack! This allows me to see what my cheapest options are to start with! And I always just start pulling items, good finds and random ones that could have potential! The more items you have to try on, the more likely you’ll find something that works!

3.Whenever you pick up an item, always inspect its condition! You don’t want to end up with an item that has a hole in it or that has stains on it! [however, there are those times it might be worth it to buy something with a small error to it. If its missing a button, that’s a quick easy fix or a hole in the seam, easy to stick right up!]

4. Search all size racks! Thrift stores are always unpredictable with sizes due to the fact someone elses body-shape wore the item in! This is sometimes to our advantage, knowing the sizes are inaccurate, it’s ok to try things on in the wrong sizes (if you're a small, try on a large). Who knows if the item shrunk to fit your body-shape!

5. Don’t forget to be on the look out for your essential items! You want to stick to a focus and a style! Otherwise, you might get lost in the chaos of thousands of items!
