I read this, this morning as it rang true in my own life! It's oh, SO true! God is so good to us and He knows us so intimately that He gives us what we need even when we don't know! I'm sitting in our new house (which we're renting) in awe of everything that has happened over the past week!
It was exactly one week ago that we started looking for a place to live! That very same day I got a phone call from my boss saying she found some leads for us! It just so happened one of her customers came in the shop and in passing mentioned that her and her hubby flip houses and rent them! That night Jonny and I came and looked at this house knowing it was where God wanted us... So three days later we loaded up the Uhaul with what was packed in that short time... We still have one more load of stuff to bring from the apartment, but for the most part we are now moved in!
The two main things (and there are many more) I keep praising God about and can't stop smiling about are 1) how awesome and loving our community is! I have never felt so loved by so many people before. All the encouraging text messages, all the prayers, all the help looking for a place, and not to mention man labor of moving. Thank you thank you thank you! And 2) how personal our God is. I sit in this home and see the little things God put into it that he knew we'd love and appreciate. Things like: a covered porch, fenced in yard for Nala, a wood burning fire place, and an open floor plan! We didn't NEED these things, but they are the little blessings from the Lord to remind us He is with us and loves us! I am so excited to finally be settling in and starting a new journey in life!
