Anticipation

So you remember that post about money, or the lack of? Well, I forgot to mention one thing... The main reason this month has been harder than usual is because we have a big trip coming up (throwing finances into a jumble). One week from today, we will be flying back to Omaha, NE to see my wonderful family! Not just my immediate family, but also my extended family. We have had a family reunion planned for an entire year now, in Branson, MO! We'll head to Omaha for several days and take a family road trip to Branson, and then head back to Omaha to celebrate my birthday and spend some more time with family and friends! I am beyond excited for this trip and the anticipation is killing me... I haven't seen my grandparents, cousins, & Aunts/Uncles for close to 2 years and I haven't seen my parents or brother for 6 months, and my sis for 8 months! Long distance really wears on us... Especially me and my sis! We're pretty close and if we live in the same city we'd probably be inseparable... Well, I guess we'll see how accurate that is after I spend two weeks with her!

...  I'm also patiently [or not so patiently] waiting for the arrival of my first niece! My beautiful sister in-law is ready to pop any day now! We've been anticipating little Luci's arrival for the past several weeks now, knowing the delivery could happen any second... but the more its drug out, the harder it's getting to wait! Especially knowing our trip is right around the corner. Jonny & I so badly want to be here to say our hello's during her first few days in this world... Hurry up Luci Karis, we all can't wait to meet your sweet little face!
