Recent talk about what we should do about our car situation has caused high stress levels around here! Or maybe the stress came from the realization that we're living back in the real world again! It's been over a month since we've moved in to our humble abode, and we absolutely LOVE it, but that love doesn't help pay the endless stack of bills! ... Just a reminder, we moved from an apartment complex where we were heading up a ministry which allowed us free rent & utilities, plus an added compensation check each month! Needless to say, moving into a house & paying bills again has made us drastically change our life style... All the car and money talk got us both thinking change was bound to happen. With in days of us accepting the realization that that change was going to have to be 'more money', we received two (very) part-time job offers! Of course, we took both with out hesitation. I am still working at Deja Vu but I'm adding in some childcare alongside it! I'll be alternating days between the two... I'm very excited about it because I already know all the kids and absolutely adore them! Also, one day a week, as a couple, we will be cleaning the church building keeping it spotless and tidy for everyone! I know I say it a lot, but God truly is our provider! He knew even before us that we needed some extra cash, so He opened these little jobs for us at the perfect time!
I'll admit this new schedule is going to take some getting use too. After the first week of it, we both are extremely exhausted! I going to have to find random times to fit in the necessary house-keeping and grocery shopping! But, I know it will all work out for the best!
