 ... Life Recently...

1. Maple cream cookies!! A-MAZING... Holy Cow they are my new favorite! And yes, this just re-emphasizes the fact that with this pregnancy I have a major MAJOR sweet-tooth! I've been craving things like rice krispy treats, cookies, chocolate, etc. and the fact we have tons of left over Halloween candy is not helping! 

2. 25.5 weeks... I was getting ready for my first baby shower! The lovely ladies from work threw a great get together to spoil little Zeek! What a huge blessing it is to work with such sweet ladies and in a small business where it feels like we're our own little family!!

3. Just a few of the hand-made goodies from the shower! My co-worker June, is one of the craftiest ladies I know... Zeek is already spoiled!

4. 26 week belly shot! ... I'm still feeling great! No sickness, sleeping a lot better, & Zeek is growing and moving all over the place! However, the past week or so I have started having major back & hip pain, so I'm hoping and praying it doesn't get much worse so I can continue working through the Holidays!  But, if that's the only pregnancy side-effect I have, I have nothing to complain about (esp. since I'm use to having back problems). 

5. Happy (late) Halloween! Halloween was a low-key night for us... we got some pumpkins and came back to our place with our best friends to carve them while we passed out candy to the trick-or-treaters... however, we only had about 5 little ones come to the door! 

6. The rest of our Halloween night, Chicken Chili & wassel by the fire! I never thought I'd love a real log fire place as much as I do... That thing is becoming more and more useful (& peaceful)! We still haven't even turned on the heat once because of it!

7. French Toast Breakfast by the warm fire... a perfect weekend morning with the hubby! Enjoying special times with the hubby before Zeek comes is becoming more and more important to us! 

8. It's that time of year again... get rid of all the blonde hairs and go all black! 

9. Zeek's crib is here and all set up! I can't wait to see the nursery come together... there's still lots of little things that need done, but it will be so worth it to see the final result!!
