Things I'm currently loving about this little guy...
1. His tiny little fingers. It's those moments where he just wraps his entire hand around one of my fingers and just squeezes it & then holds on! I melt every time... I really could sit there all day holding his hand and stroking the back of it because of how soft & smooth & precious it is!!
2. His nose. I'd probably say this is in the top two for me! It was one of the first things I noticed about him when the nurse handed him to me. Perhaps I like it so much because it's that one feature that I see myself in and that reminder is so humbling yet exhilarating!! ... my favorite thing is when he's sleeping in my arms and I get to sneak attack a kiss on his nose, or more like put his entire nose in my mouth!
3. There's this face he makes, I call it the "O" face! His eyes get big and he makes a small little O with his mouth... It's almost like he's trying to say "Ooooo" to us! Absolutely precious.
4. Now, I know his little smiles are solely gas related at this time, BUT let's all just admit it, it is the cutest smile! And I really hope his "real" smile is exactly the same... He'll be such a little heart-throb (well, he will be no matter what).
5. And of course, last but not least (& actually my number 1)... his eyes!! Are they not the most beautiful you've ever seen?! They were the very first thing that made me swoon over my baby when they handed him to me... I immediately saw a mix between myself and my husband in that moment! Confirming (not that there was any questioning) that "THIS is our child!"
