We were able to celebrate our four year anniversary with a big shh-bang this year! All to my surprise, of course... We started our evening by dropping our little man off at a friends house & then venturing downtown for a scrumptious meal at Soby's! Luckily, we were blessed with a couple gift certificates so we could afford to go all out (drinks, dessert & the works), which is always extra nice when going to a new restaurant. Jonny & I tend to be the "loyalist" type and usually only eat at places we've been before, so this truly was an adventure! Jonnys bacon wrapped tenderloin & my homemade fried chicken were well worth it. But my blueberry pomegranate fusion topped it all...
To my surprise, while at dinner, our home was being invaded by a very crafty friend (Mel, you're the best!)... It was transformed into an enchanted oasis! We spent the rest of our evening laying under the 'stars' in our tent watching a movie!! And to conclude the special evening my sweet husband continued his tradition of playing me the annual song he wrote! It always makes me more eager for our tenth anniversary when, hopefully, I'll be getting a recording of all ten songs from each anniversary! I'm so blessed to have such a talented & loving husband!
