I love when I get to sit down & reminisce on the beautiful moments I get with my son. Zeek grows so fast that I often overlook or forget the little things that make our day unique. And it's those little things that make my heart burst with joy! Today it's little things like...
- the way he says "where'd it go?", with the pitch of his voice constantly rising & his little hands lifted above his shoulders with a shrug of confusion, yet anticipation of finding his lost goods!
- his bashful smile of flirtation towards strangers! He sure is a heart throb already. Watch out world!

- his silliness & giggles. We could wrestle & tickle all day long just so I could hear that belly laugh of his...
- the way he's started tightly embracing you & holding tight during any hug or snuggle!
- the way he says "pease" & "tank yoou" on his very own like the well mannered boy he is!
- his eagerness to copy what I'm doing; whether it's putting on makeup, brushing hair, using deodorant, brushing teeth, making silly noises, coloring, making funny faces, or building block towers, he wants to be just like me!
- his sensitive spirit! When he knows he's in trouble he immediately reaches out for some snuggles or a big hug (which makes it hard to continue disciplining him). He then proceeds to say his version of "sorry" & gives me kisses. It started as a discipline/training technique, but to see him continue it with out us prodding him to do so, is one of the most heart melting moments a parent could ask for!
*Here's a previous "things I'm loving" from when Zeek was 5 mn old, it's always fun looking back!
