I'm sitting here watching my sweet girl sleep so soundly (& has been sleeping for four hours) through her first full nap, and am so so thankful we have all made it this far! Time has flown by, yet felt like a standstill one too many times. It has been the hardest two months ever for our family, especially my husband & myself, but we are holding tight to one another and the small sweet moments we find! This nap is such a huge indicator that things are on the up side & getting better. Ivy's belly pain is slowly, but surely, subsiding...
Ivy at two months...
- loves to lock eyes on her daddy and watch his every move (she'll watch others but he is by far her favorite)... Already a daddy's girl!
- sleeps a long 6hr stretch at night
- has occasionally smiled, but we're still waiting on the full grinning stage to erupt
- has reflux and belly pain ... randomly waking her in screams
- because of her belly pain, she's a picky/random eater. She has to be in the mood & pain free otherwise it will cause a nursing war between the two of us.
- still fits into newborn size, but is starting to fit some new bigger stuff
- hates tummy time and will not lift her head unless she's laying on me ... She will usually just sleep if I put her on her tummy!
- has discovered her tongue and loves rolling it & playing with it!
