Gifted with Hospitality

God has been teaching us, stretching us, and growing us in more ways than one. Lately life seems to be a roller coaster with the up's and down's, twists, and speed that we are going at. We have been extremely busy to the point were we haven't had a settling place. Every weekend we have been out of town (and the next month we are gone every weekend) and during the past 3 weeks we have had the wonderful chance to open our house to different people living with us!

Jonny & I both know that God has gifted us with hospitality and we desire to always use that gift to the best of our abilities. This has been such a battle lately for us because we do what we can for those staying with us, but still have that desire to do more for them. However, right now we do not have the means to do more... We desire to fix the fact we have no working AC, for the comfort of others (Jonny and I are use to this so it is not as much of a discomfort for us). And we desire to provide groceries and meals, but could not bc of a lack of funds... Even with these suppressed desires (from the gift God has given us) God still put us to the test by allowing us to have people stay with us for 3 weeks who did not mind what we consider struggles. And even beyond not minding it, they even mentioned that they had never experienced hospitality like ours. It's such an honor to hear that (beyond our circumstances) and we are so very thankful for this opportunity.

With three weeks of people in our home, Jonny and I were starved for each others attention. God used this to bless our marriage in the special time we have alone, now. It has re-awakened our love and appreciation for each other! Our passion for each other is continually growing and we feel as though we are dating again. :-) Praise God for working and blessing us in hard times!

Hard times as in living on a part-time income. I do not say this to complain of our circumstances bc I know God has blessed us and continues to bless us and grow us in this time. We are waiting on HIS timing and HIS call as to where we will be going. However, we do have our bias' and where we feel lead to go by what doors have been open for us, which is Greenville. We hope to find out this week as to whether we will be officially moving at the end of July! We are praying and hoping that this is our next step...

Please be praying with us as we wait and hopefully transition...
