What a let down...

I'm writing this blog in response to the previous one...

Jonny went into the interview at CIU with high hopes! He met with the guy for almost 3 hours talking about the job, life, and much more... He left with a confirmed job opportunity! He went home and prayed about it for about a week, called the guy back to officially accept the position offered to him... BUT during that conversation the truth came out! There is not an opening for the position at all. So, to keep it short, Jonny could pay CIU to take another class in the fall just so that he could be a student worker or wait around until a lady in that department retires and fill her position...

Therefore, in the meantime we are back to the beginning. Job searching! Job searching like crazy and still waiting on God to lead us where he wants us and to provide for us! A few doors have been slowly opening, but nothing is completely open yet.

As far as my work goes... it's going... working as many hours as possible at the church (which is sometimes a let down) and trying to get my Tastefully Simple stuff off to a start! I'm continuing to pray that God opens doors with that as well.

We both are completely drained emotionally, physically, and mentally from this process. We are thankful for it because we know it is growing us, but we are still ready to move on in life! Settle down with full time jobs, so we can have consistency and eventually have a cute little Brush running around...
