It's kind of ironic that every time we've planned to go tour the winery at Chateau Elan, it ends up raining! Today was probably the fifth time our plans have gotten canceled... Reminder: this was going to be the hubs bday celebration! ... I mean come on, its been a month since the hubs birthday. Why aren't we allowed to celebrate it the way we want too! ... But, we improvised as usual, and went on a different date! We explored the [free] art museum of Greenville and then hit up two restaurants that we'd never been to. We were hoping that the Brew & Ewe was going to be a cute little cafe, but it ended up more of a coffee shop. We still took advantage of being there and enjoyed a good cup of Joe before heading on to our next pick of the day! I recommend to everyone in the area to try out Brick Street Cafe! Such great fresh food, not to mention the best cakes in town, especially the sweet potato cake! MMMmmmMM.... Now we start hoping that next Thursday it doesn't rain so we can try one more time to go explore Chateau Elan!

ReplyDeleteIs that the skirt you got when we went thrifting Thursday? Such a cute outfit! I LOVE Brick Street Cafe! Never heard of the coffee shop though. Hopefully you can go to your special birthday time next Thursday!
