This past weekend we had a wonderful (wing-it) date night!
After enjoying a lovely meal at Arizona Steakhouse we went to buy our movie tickets & while standing in line, we just happened to look up and see the prices. Ten dollars for each ticket... What a rude awakening that was! This goes to show how long it's been since we have gone out to see a movie. The last price I remember paying was {maybe} $7.50 or $8. When we saw that price we both decided it wasn't worth it! So we went on our merry way. While driving home we saw a sign for Frankie's Fun Park. We decided to check it out and compare prices. It was only 7$ each for us to play 18 holes of putt-putt! It was way worth saving that extra 6$ (for a nice Starbucks drink on the way home). And we feel like our time together was much more utilized since we got to interact with each other, laugh & have fun for that same amount of time we would have been sitting their staring at a screen!
All this to say, the 'classic' date isn't always worth it. Go out & have some fun!
