After three weeks of my 'concerned' husband questioning me about packing my bags, I finally gave in... I think it was the morning he woke up, looked at me very concerned & said in a panic "are you're bags packed? You NEED to do that... it's any day now" (before anything else even came out of his mouth) that's what made me jump on it, for his sake! Poor poor guy is more on edge about going into labor than I am... I'm the type that wants to put off packing as long as possible so I don't get overly excited thinking it's coming sooner than it is & just getting disappointed... Zeek is due exactly 2.5 weeks from today! So, our bags are packed, the nursery is all set up, the house continues to be cleaned, and we distract ourselves with things to do while we wait! We're ready when you are, Zeek!!
Pregnancy update:
- I'm still feeling great! And so thankful for such an easy pregnancy... However, I'm actually starting to notice "pregnancy" things now... throughout my pregnancy I've felt 100% me just with a belly (thankful for little to no "side effects"), but now that I'm so close to the end that's changing... I now have swollen hands & feet (can't wear my wedding ring), a swollen face, having to pee a TON (so much pressure, thanks Zeek), and many many Braxton Hicks! All these things excite me that much more for my little boy to get here... but I'm still fully embracing each day that I am pregnant and with just my hubby!
- Nesting. Yes, that stage hit way early for me! I think we started getting his room ready when I was like 18 weeks-ish... but now it's so fun to look at it all completed! Even though we finished the nursery, I'm still nesting in other ways, like cleaning cleaning cleaning, meal prepping, crafting, etc. I think I'm just distracting myself until he comes. just killing time... here's a sneak peek at some nursery details! I'm eagerly waiting for a package from my mom before I post all the nursery pics because I want to show off some of the fun things she's made (like his quilt)! :-)
