Being that I was in the ER having my appendix taken out the day my son turned 18 months old, my update is a little late! It's crazy to think Zeek is hitting the toddler stage already, shouldn't he stay a baby forever!? ... This stage has been one of my favorite times, but also my least favorite. The more fun & interactions we have together, allows for more communicated meltdowns when the fun stops! The joy of growing up & of parenthood.
Zeek at 18 months...
- is all boy! Mud, dirt, bugs, balls, hammers, running, throwing, trucks, trains, etc.
You name a clique boy-ish thing and he's all about it!
- learns a new word daily, and is quite the chatter box at home! But, he takes a while to warm up to others... He'll yell "hi" across the street to other kids, but the moment they come over & say hi, he shuts down & stops talking.
- loves "Melmo" (aka Elmo).
- is very polite and says his "pease" & "tank yoo's" without us telling him too, along with his "lub ooo" (when daddy leaves).
- he's a climber, climbs on anything & everything you can imagine!
- absolutely loves Nala (our dog)! He won't leave a room without calling her to follow. He also loves chasing her & running with her in the backyard!

- has shown signs that potty training might come a little easier than expected (I just jinxed myself)! He tells me often when he's "poo poo" which is a step in the right direction!
- we have had to try numerous types of disciple because he is a sneaky little guy and thinks he can laugh & play his way out of things. Everything is a game!
- has dropped to only one nap a day! But still sleeps long 13 hour nights.
- is usually always smiling & giggling like he's known for!
My little adventurer...
beautiful photos as usual and a lovely little glimpse at life-with-boy. I love it!
