As most of you know Jonny's final semester at CIU he recorded a CD as his senior project! The CD tracks are 'finished', but Jonny is not confident in the recording quality! But, he recently gave in and released his CD on noisetrade.com for FREE (go check it out)! Ever since the release he is gaining more and more confidence in himself as he continues to see the number of downloads increasing daily! Not to mention, seeing the list of people who downloaded and noticing zip codes that we have never heard of or don't even know where they are from! What an excitement this process has been!
This has made me realize more and more the passion Jonny has for his music and for recording. It has become my prayer that God opens doors and financial needs for Jonny to record a QUALITY CD and be able to produce copies of this CD to sell! How awesome that experience and opportunity would be for him! I believe he is beyond good enough for a chance like that and I am trying to convince him of the same!
A friend of his at work recently showed him a website called IndieGoGo where people can post projects they are wanting to accomplish (cds, movies, documentaries, etc.) and how much money they need to raise to accomplish it. Then whoever sees their 'pitch' and likes it can go on and donate how ever much money they want! Such a cool idea and website. Jonny is really considering posting a pitch to record a CD and seeing how God provides the funds for him to record! Keep this in your prayers...
